Thermal PT Sphere and Dual PT Sphere models provide remote pan and tilt positioning control and effective protection against harsh environments.
The Thermal PT Sphere and Dual PT Sphere models both feature our tried and trusted spherical camera housings which are machined from solid aluminium, then hard anodized and powder coated.
Freedom of movement is provided by the precision pan and tilt assembly, which delivers rapid movement, high repeatability and minimal overshoot, even at full speed. The whole assembly plus camera sphere are rated to IP67 environmental protection. For post top mounting, where the camera needs to look vertically downwards, the arm that links the sphere to the PT mechanism can be easily tilted forward and the sphere angle adjusted accordingly.
The Thermal PT Sphere features a thermal detector with a choice of two lens options (50° or 30°). The Dual PT Sphere has the same thermal detector and lens choice in addition to an optical camera which can provide colour images of the same scene (subject to lighting conditions).
